Summer Time Aqua Beach Nails

Summer is just around the corner and that means it's time to prepare those nails of yours for some summer lovin'. :)

Under The Sea is a simple and beautiful trend that has been popping up in magazines and stores. Seahorse earrings, starfish rings, seashell necklaces, and why not bring the stunning colors of a mermaid to your nails?! This is a simple and inexpensive way to participate in the trend.

I started off with the base coat.

I used Sally Hensen's Insta-Dry in Mint Sprint. You can find this at Walmart or any drug store, but I found mine at Five Below. The best part was they are usually on sale there for THREE polishes for FIVE DOLLARS!

I used only one coat and then layered on three THIN coats of...

Heart Breaker by Pure Ice which is like .97 cents at Walmart. It's a very sheer, shimmer blue polish that works great as a top coat. It added a pearlescent shine to my base coat while deeping the color just the slightest bit.

P.S. Don't worry about cleaning off your cuticles. The rough edges will peel off in the shower. :)
